Continue with the The Cactuar Connection mission, go on to The Last Cactuar, and then finish with Showdown in the Sands.

If you send a chocobo to Bikanel (any one will do, but it will run away so don't send a good one), then the Central Expanse becomes available for digging.
One of the prizes you can dig up there is the Desert Key with which you can unlock the chest near the save sphere to get the Horn of Plenty grid.
Return to the Cactuar Nation to see a scene with Benzo and Marnela.
You can also challenge any of the cactuar guardians again including Frailea.
