    its when u enter the calm lands u see a chocobo feature on the right side near the edge (go gat a chocobo first if u cant find her go 2 ur air ship then come back then she will be there thats never failed me .

    nah thats besaid, btw I CANT GET BACK THERE evry time i try 2 go back 2 besaid a guy calls me an infidel then releases dark valefor on me and i DIE...:( help

      Yup, that\'s Dark Valefor, one of the allmighty Dark Aeons (final boss is a wimp compared to them). The good thing is, he\'s the easiest one of them. If Wakka is powered enough and has his World Champion, one perfect Attack Reel will kill the birdie. If for some reasons you don\'t have Wakka maxed (like I, cause I HATE Blitzball) you can summon Anima and use her Overdrive. If that\'s not enough to kill Dark Valefor, finish him with any multi hit overdrive from Tidus - Blitz Ace preferably (make sure that you have break damage limit on him). If you can\'t kill him, there\'s no way you can get back to Besaid Village. Oh, and by the way: Dark Valefor is the WEAKEST of all Dark Aeons :]

        sorry, but you just said to use Anima's overdrive to beat Dark Valefore and get to Besaid temple yes? However I'm pretty sure that he/she wanted to know how to get Anima... by lighting up all the statues in Baaj Temple... which she needs the Besaid destruction sphere to do? :S I fail to see how that helps. sorry again, but I have the same problem so... >.<;;

  ariel, you must open every single chest in each temple. since bevelle�s the only place you can never return you must ensure to get the knight lance for kimahri before you leave. its near the end just b4 you walk out. you must have the 2 "unused" bevelle spheres from the trials and place 1 into the empty wall slot then push the pedestal with the other bevelle sphere to the left. it will open a path and you can get the lance. this is the only way to do it. every other temple you can return to and redo each cloister of trials. but you MUST remember to use the destruction spheres to find each secret room. the key to lighting each statue at baaj temple is to find & open every single treasure chest in every cloister of trials including all the hidden/secret ones. after endless headaches i finally found an online US guide that doesn't have the int'l dark aeons & penance-which we got JIPPED on!!! http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/197344/18751 good luck. i'm already 93+hrs in...

    u can look it up on "search" in the airship and u can u can do the the waterfall in bevelle but nowhere else (that is where u get the dragoon lance)

  i've started my game over like almost 5 times now can someone plz help me heres my probelm: I GOT THE BLOSSOM CROWN AND I DID VALEFOR,IFRIT,IXION,AND SHIVA AND IM CONFUSE I DID 4 TEMPLES OVER AND THEY ONLI GOT 3 LIGHT UP AND IM SUPPOSE TO DO 6 OVER BUT I CANT GET IN2 BEVELLLE TEMPLE & I THINK IM SUPPOSE TO DO ZANERKAND OVER BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO START IT BUT REALLY CONFUSES ME MORE IS WHEN I GO IN2 THE BAAJ TEMPLE AND THE HAVE COLORS ON IT ARE THE COLORS THERE TO RESPERSENT THE AEONS PLZ TELL ME WHICH COLORS REPERSENT WHO OR SOMETHING

  To get tidus ultimate weapon you need to Race and defeat the Chocobo Trainer in the Calm Lands. Walk to the upper northwest section of the Calm Lands. The guard blocking a narrow pathway down into the gorge will disappear which gives you the right to pass. You will be able to use the Celestial Mirror to acquire the Caladbolg.
