Take a left. Under the big staircase, you'll find a Flash Hat. On the left side of the pond, at the top you'll find Angel Earrings.

After going into the Inn, you'll view a few scenes. As Zidane, get the Elixir in the Inn then head across town to the doorway on the far right. Get the Wing Edge from the chest and visit Moorock the moogle.

Go to the room at the top of the village and down the stairs inside. Pick up the Elixir behind the girl and then speak to her.

Once you control Eiko, head to the front of the village and meet Amarant. Go through the green portal, and continue on until you meet the girl.
