Dream Sequence Part 3 |

As Laguna leave the house and head next door to the pub to meet Kiros. When you're through talking with him, he'll join you. Leave the pub and head south. After you reach the edge of town, turn around and go back to the pub. Go upstairs to check in with Raine then head back to Laguna's house and choose to rest. |
Galbadia Prison |

You'll wake up in a prison cell as Zell and company. Talk to your teammates until the scene switches. After some scenes involving Squall, Zell eventually beats up a guard and gets out of his cell. Go up the stairs and defeat the two Guards there to recover everyone's weapons. Biggs (II) and Wedge (II) show up after you rearm. After you've defeated them you're free to explore the prison. Going down allows you to pick up a Tent, Pet House, Pet Name Tag, Str Up and Combat King 001. Going up, you'll find a Berserk DP and Thundaga DP. There are also several guys who will play cards with you if you pay them and give you prizes if you win. The one on the 10th floor will upgrade your "Battle Report" in your menu if you win. After the 12th floor you'll find Squall. Zell will stay behind to allow the rest to escape, but they'll run into a dead end. Have Zell run away from the guards until the others arrive. Irvine and Rinoa will also show up at this point. After dividing into two teams, head up with Squall's team and down with Irvine's team. If you speak to the moombas they'll hand you some items. When Squall's team reaches the outside, you'll be confronted by 1 Elite Soldier and 2 GIM52As. Bring the others up using the control panel back inside. When you head towards the other tower, the whole structure starts to sink. Hold right to get Squall to safety before it submerges. |
Gabadia Missile Base |

Out in the desert, there's an Aero DP. Speak to Selphie and then form up into two teams. As Squall's party, board the train engine at the station. Switching back to Selphie's party, head north then west to find the Missile Base. Once inside, examine the light next to the door on the left to open it. Select any option to get past the first guard. After going down some stairs, turn left and exit south of the save point. There's a Blind DP here and two guards. Speak to them then return to the previous room with the save point and go through the north door. Speak to the 2nd guard there to deliver the message. Return to the guards who gave you the message and speak to them again. Go back up the stairs to the first guard who will now let you in to the circuit room. There's a Blizzara DP inside. Have Selphie bang on the controls until the power goes out. When you leave some guards show up. Try to talk your way out and then tell them you were just about to call them. Go back to the save point room. When you get to the door a guard will come out. Play it cool and then agree to help out. Get between the two guards pushing the launcher to help them get it into place. Go back out and examine the control panel to the right of the door. Go into the Target menu, Set Error Ratio to the maximum and then Data Upload. In the Equipment menu, you'll see the launcher and missiles. In the Simulation menu, you can watch a graphic of the missile flight. Exit the system and then speak to the guard just south of the panel to get past him. In the control room, you must defeat the Base Leader and 2 Base Soldiers. Examine the controls on the left to stop the missile launch. Go forward to the next room and examine the controls there to set the self-destruct. If you choose 20 minutes or less for the timer, the door on the right will unlock and allow you a quick exit from the base. Just before you get out, the missiles launch anyway and you'll run into the BGH251F2 (I). After beating up on it for a while, it'll leave and you must finish off 2 G-Soldiers and an Elite Soldier. |
Balamb Garden - Civil War |

As you enter, one of the faculty will question your loyalties. If you swear allegiance to NORG, he'll let you pass. Otherwise, you'll have to fight some monsters. Once inside after a brief conversation with Raijin and Fujin you'll be free to search for Cid. Visit each section of the Garden and choose to help any students in trouble by defeating any monsters the faculty call up. Some of the students will give you items in thanks if you speak to them after each battle. When all downstairs sections have cleared of faculty, go up the elevator in the lobby to the 2nd floor. Talk to Xu in the corridor and then follow her back to the elevator. Go into Cid's office and speak with him. He'll give you a key that will allow you to use the elevator to get to the MD level. When the elevator stops on the way down, examine the controls then the panel in the floor. Climb down the ladder and continue until you reach a large wheel. Turn it by pressing [square] and then return to the previous room to find a newly revealed ladder heading down. Continue past the Full-Life DP and then have Squall climb the next ladder alone. Use the control panel then climb back down. Examine the glowing green light at the railing and continue downwards. Throw the switch at the bottom and head towards the opened door. As you approach, you'll be attacked by 2 Oilboyles. After the battle, go forward and down another ladder. At the bottom, you'll find a huge machine. Play with the controls until it comes to life. After the garden transforms, go down to the second floor and go out the door at the end of the corridor. Squall wakes up in his room. Head to the lobby and take the elevator down. After a conversation with Cid, go to the next room where you'll have to fight NORG. You can Draw Leviathan from him. Once he's defeated, go back up and go to the Infirmary. Ask to see the headmaster and speak with him. When you leave, go back to the lobby where Xu will find you and tell you to head to the 2nd floor deck. Afterwards, go back inside and find Ellone in the Library. A few scenes later, Cid orders Squall and company to go explore Fishermans Horizon and appologize to the mayor. You must exit the garden from the 2F Deck. |
Fishermans Horizon |

On your way into the town there is a ladder leading down. At the edge of a pier, speak to the Master Fisherman there. If you say you're sorry, he'll give you Occult Fan III. You can find an issue of Timber Maniacs at the Grease Monkey's house and another on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Go to Mayor Dobe's house in the middle of the solar dish and speak with him. When you leave, the Galbadian army will be attacking the town. Head towards the abandoned train station to find the mayor. Fight 2 G-Soldiers and an Elite Soldier and then you'll be faced with BGH251F2 (II). After you win, you'll be reunited with Selphie's team. Go to the dock and speak with the fishing kid until he gets his cast right. Go back towards the garden until you run into Irvine. Go down and speak to the Master Fisherman then go to the Inn and choose to keep him company until the end of his story. After following him to the docks and talk to the shopkeeper there after the little scene. Agree with the Master Fisherman and then speak to him afterward and he'll give you a Megalixir. Go to the Grease Monkey's repair shop and speak to the Galbadian officer there. Go back outside and then reenter and speak to the Grease Monkey and he'll give you a Mega Phoenix. |
Balamb Garden Festival and Occupied Balamb |

Go back to the garden and find Selphie in the Quad. During the following scenes your teammates form a band. Depending on what instruments you select, the resulting tune will determine the mood of Squall and Rinoa's conversation during the concert. Pick Guitar, Violin, Flute and Tap for a lively tune and a smooth conversation. Pick Sax, Electric Guitar, Piano and Bass Guitar for a ballad and a slightly uneasy conversation. Pick any other combo for a jumbled song and an uncomfortable conversation. After the concert, go to the bridge on 3F and speak to Nida to get the garden moving. Head for Balamb first which is just north and slightly west of FH. Galbadia Garden is already there and the town is occupied by soldiers. After convincing the guard to let you in, go to the hotel and speak to the guards there. Go back and visit Zell's house and speak to Ma Dincht. Go to the harbor and speak to the soldiers there. Return to Zell's house and speak to his mom again. Go to the train station and speak the everyone there. Return to the harbor and talk to the dog. Follow it back to the train station where you'll find Raijin. Return to the hotel where you'll have to confront Raijin (I) and 2 G-Soldiers. Immediately following that battle, you'll fight Raijin (I) and Fujin (I) together. You can Draw Pandemona from Fujin. |
Trabia Garden |

Find Trabia Garden to the north. Follow Selphie into the garden. At the bottom of the screen of the front gate there's the Weapons Mon Aug on the ground south of the statue. In the cemetary, there's an issue of Timber Maniacs. Meet up with everyone at the basketball court. During the flashback, head down to the beach. Keep speaking to your teammates until the flashback ends. |
Battle with Galbadia Garden |

Head towards the west end of the southern continent. When you get close, Galbadia Garden will attack. Select your orders from the list, ending with No Orders/End. On the 2nd floor, speak to anyone standing around. Go down to the the 1st floor and head to the Quad. Talk to Zell and your other teammates there. When you return to the bridge the battle begins. Switching to Zell's team, head left to the edge of the Quad. When Rinoa falls off the edge, head back inside and go to the front gate. After meeting up with Squall, reform your party. Head to the 2nd floor classroom where you'll have to fight 4 Paratroopers. After the battle, talk to the other students in the classroom. Return to the bridge and after your speech, go back to the 2nd floor. Head to the end of the corridor to find the missing kid. When the hover trooper knocks you against the wall, examine the hatch, look for another option, then press the button for the emergency exit. Mash the buttons to knock the trooper off and then after rescuing Rinoa, run left to reach safety. Name the creature on your ring then go inside. Head right, right again and then up the stairs until you see Raijin and Fujin. Go left and enter the first door on the right. Talk to the student there to receive Key Card [1]. Go back to the save point where you came in and go left this time. Your Key Card will allow you to enter the left door. Cross the hockey rink and leave through the door to the far right. Enter the door on the right of the the hall and speak to the student there to receive Key Card [2]. Go back to the save point where you came in again. Go back up the steps, past Raijin and Fujin and keep going up. Once outside, jump down to the courtyard and continue going left. Go south, past some stairs until you come to the main hall. Approach the creature in the center to fight Cerberus. After defeating it, you will gain Cerberus GF. Take the southwest passage and go in the door on the left. The student there gives you Key Card [3]. Return the way you came until you find the stairs you didn't go up. Go up them now and make a left to find the elevator. Use the Key Card to access it. Approach the Sorceress to fight Seifer (II). Go back down the elevator and head back to the stairs, but go right this time. Circle around the balcony and enter the auditorium on the right. Approach the podium to fight Seifer (III) again. Once he falls, you'll fight Edea (II) directly. You can Draw Alexander from her. |
