KDY-150

The KDY v-150 is a system based ion cannon used to fire on ships which are bombarding the system on which the KDY is deployed. As with all ion cannons, the KDY does no physical damage. It drains energy from the target vessel, reducing its shields and rendering it unable to fire its weapons. This is especially useful when attempting to pass units through a enemy blockade.
