zombie
use zombie strike and just watch while it 'heals' itself causing damage. it's sorta fun. or just use Auron's Tornado Overdrive with Masamune, and it should do it.

its easy
true all you need is zombie so easy with maramasa or zombie strike you can also beat it by having break dmg limit and 99999 dmg. delt one hit fight :) but since yu yevon is the last boss it shouldve been harder seymour was harder :(

Yu Yevon
Yu Yevon has no strategy to be beaten, it's just too easy. Instead, try having the most fun possible, and put zombie on him, then kill him with potions.
Fun Too dee Macks.

Notes
Casts Gravija on your entire party AND itself, removing 3/4 of current HP (subject to the four-digit damage cap). Doesn't seem to do anything else.
Counters all attacks by casting Curaga on itself. It can heal itself for 9999 damage, so unless you can break the damage cap or you have the Doublecast ability, you'll need to do something marginally clever to beat him. Like casting Shell on him, or waiting until he's damaged himself so much from casting Gravija (he doesn't counter his own spell) that you can one-shot him. Reflect is another possibility, unless he's immune to it (anyone know for sure?).
