Permanent reflect and immune to physical attacks. Bounces Firaga, Thundaga, Waterga, Blizzaga, and Flare off of itself to attack your party and occasionally casts Ultima (more often when it's near death). May try to heal itself with Regen or by casting Reflect and then Curaga on one of your party members.

Ways to fight Jumbo Flan
One way is to cast shell on all 3 of you and cast regen on all 3 of you and maybe even auto-life depending on the situation. Then strike at him with Doublecast --> Ultima. This will hurt him, badly. When he casts reflect on you dont dispell it, just wait and dispell HIM when he casts himself with regen.
Another way, (my favorite) is to summon Anima. (Make sure Anima has Haste, Dispell, Shell, Regen and maybe even Curaga.) What you want to do now is Haste yourself then cast Shell, Regen on yourself. This will help keep Anima alive and a cure spell just in case your Anima is weak. Once your ready, use Pain. This should do 99,999 damage. When he casts regen on himself, dispell it and Pain him again. I have my Yuna maxed out her Str, Def, Agi, Acc, and her HP was at 32,000. So, my strategy might be best used for maxing out stats, not defeating a newly made Jumbo Flan. lol

Re: Ways to fight Jumbo Flan
You can reduce your mana cost here by doublecasting ultima once then having everyone use copycat.

Slow
You can also make him slower by using reflect on yourself and then use slow.

killing tricks
i find the anima one does work really well, and using overdrives can help a bit, but not much really (unless your pretty much maxed). the slow trick works really well too. i like to do both those, slow him then pull out hasted anima. dead... fast enough xD
If you're too weak you can include a Cure/Cura/Curaga/Regen and a Dispel to remove Jumbo Flan's Regen.

Re: Perfect Strategy
NO NO NO NO...
YOUR ALL MISSING THE POINT!
All those "Pain" attacks take a very long time!
Do this to defeat jumbo flan in under a minute...
1) Cast reflect on each party member.
2) 1st party member uses "double-cast" FLARE on themselves.
3) Then keep using copycat over and over, until the fight is done.

Re: Perfect Strategy
That isn't the best strategy, wastes too much Mp and u can't get overkill with that strategy, a few others could be, doublecasting ultima or, reflect-holy off them can get u overkills cuz holy does the highest burst dmg out of all the wht and blk magicks
