Wakka's Overdrive can help with this mine has all max stats except luck and is doing about 50,000 with every hit from attack reels so for 12 hits thats the same as hitting it 6 times normally

auto-phoenix
Easy enemy with auto-phoenix and break damage limit. Hit him twice and he'll fall back, then just keep hitting him and let the auto-phoenix revive your team when he counters with flare...

1.3 MILLION HP?
Am I reading correctly that it has more than one million hitpoints? So it'll take a minimum of 131 hits (at 9999 per hit) to kill it? Yikes.

Notes
Seems to have permanent Reflect from the start of the battle. Attacks and counterattacks with Megaton Punch, causing instant death to one target and, if that gets resisted, enormous damage.
If you hurt it enough, the Earth Eater will fall on its back, like the Chocobo Eater you fought way back on the Mi'ihen High Road. From this position, it has reduced defense, and counters by reflecting a Flare spell onto you (does less damage than Megaton Punch). It will take several rounds to regain its footing, during which time it does nothing on its turns.
If you want to beat this monster before reaching extremely high levels, Auto-Phoenix will probably be a necessity.

Re: Notes
if you shell up and have a character without break dmg limit healing you kill him fairly easily... he can megaton punch 2 or 3 times in a row so i have auto-haste and auto-phoenix on all 3 characters. if you blitz ace him you will do much less than a normal strike 13k instead of 99,999 dmg so its best to attack him, heal when you can and auto phoenix when he kills someone. oh and his flare and megaton punch counters are at random, not specifically the character who hits him.
