I'm trying to get 200 lighting doges and the count seems to reset if i save my game. that makes it really really hard.
does anybody have tips on how to make this easier?

no easy way
Wish there was an easy way to dodge those things. Took me countless tries to reach 200. Patience and timing is the key. I've read on many sites about the save trick and going into other screens to make the number jump but nothing worked for me.

Resetting the Count
From what I understand, saving or leaving the area will reset your count.
Equipping a "no encounters" armor and standing near a pool of water (where the lightning strikes more frequently, with two bursts coming at regular intervals) makes it go somewhat faster.

pools in the north
only in the far north the pools will make it strike twice.
